However, creating a signature is only the first step. You also need to be able to add it to your messages in a specific email application which is something that many people find challenging.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you fall into that group, this guide on adding signatures to four popular email clients should help you get things going in the right direction.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you have the <strong>.html file<\/strong> with your signature on hand. You will need it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">outlook.com&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoft-365\/outlook\/email-and-calendar-software-microsoft-outlook?deeplink=%2Fowa%2F&amp;sdf=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">outlook.com<\/a> email service allows you to create one or several personalized signatures for your email messages. A signature can include text, images, and a logo\/an image of a handwritten signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>outlook.com also enables you to add a signature or one of the available signatures automatically. Additionally, you can select which signature to use in each particular case.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add a signature, do the following:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Open the signature in a browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Press Ctrl+A (PC) or Command+A (Mac) on the keyboard to select the signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Press <strong>Ctrl+C (PC)<\/strong> or <strong>Command+\u0421 (Mac)<\/strong> on the keyboard to copy the signature.\u00a0<br>4. Sign in to outlook.com.<br>5. Select Settings at the top of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Click <strong>View all Outlook settings<\/strong>. At this point the <strong>Settings <\/strong>page opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Click <strong>Email &gt; Compose<\/strong> <strong>and reply<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Enter the signature name into the <strong>Edit signature name <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Position the cursor in the area below the <strong>Edit signature name<\/strong> field and <strong>press Ctrl+V (PC)<\/strong> or <strong>Command+V (Mac) <\/strong>on the keyboard to paste the signature you have copied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. In the <strong>For New Messages<\/strong> dropdown menu, select <strong>Automatically include my signature on new messages I compose <\/strong>if you want your signature to appear on all new messages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. In the <strong>For\/Replies\/Forwards<\/strong> dropdown menu, select <strong>Automatically include my signature on messages I forward or reply to <\/strong>if you want your signature to appear on all messages that you reply to or forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12. If you need to add another signature, click <strong>+ New signature<\/strong> and repeat steps 8-11 above.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mail on Mac<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Mail <\/strong>email client on Mac allows you to create several personalized signatures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add a signature, follow these steps: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Open the signature in a browser.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Press <strong>Command+A<\/strong> on the keyboard to select the signature.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Press <strong>Command+C<\/strong> on the keyboard to copy the signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Make sure the checkbox <strong>Always match my default message font <\/strong>is NOT selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">gmail.com<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gmail.com <\/a>allows you to add several personalized email signatures that can contain images, text, and links. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To integrate a single signature, do the following:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>1. Open the signature in a browser.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Press <strong>Ctrl+A (PC) or Command+A<\/strong> <strong>(Mac) <\/strong>on the keyboard to select the signature.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Press <strong>Ctrl+C (PC) <\/strong>or <strong>Command+C (Mac) <\/strong>on the keyboard to copy the signature.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Select Settings > <strong>See all settings<\/strong> at the top of the page. The <strong>Settings <\/strong>page opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. On the <strong>General <\/strong>tab, scroll down to the <strong>Signature <\/strong>section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Click <strong>+ Create new. <\/strong>The <strong>Name new signature<\/strong> dialog pops up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Enter the signature name and click <strong>Create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Position the cursor in the editor area on the right and press <strong>Ctrl+V (PC) <\/strong>or<strong> Command+V<\/strong> <strong>(Mac) <\/strong>to paste the signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. In the <strong>FOR NEW EMAILS USE<\/strong> dropdown menu, select the signature name if you want the signature to appear on all new messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. In the <strong>ON REPLY\/FORWARD USE<\/strong> dropdown menu, select the signature name if you want the signature to appear on all the messages you reply to or forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. Click <strong>Save changes<\/strong> at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outlook Desktop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The MS Office suite includes, among other applications, the <strong>Outlook desktop email client<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The signature is saved as an .<strong>htm<\/strong> file (not to be confused with .<strong>html<\/strong>). This means you need to rename the signature file first, removing \u2018l\u2019 in the extension. For example,<strong> email.html &gt; email.htm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add a signature:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In the main menu, select <strong>File<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In the window that opens, select <strong>Options<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Select <strong>Mail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Position the cursor on the <strong>Signatures\u2026 <\/strong>button and press <strong>Ctrl+left mouse button<\/strong>. A folder in the Explorer window opens. It contains all the existing email signature sand can hold an unlimited number of signatures.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Put your signature in the<strong> .htm<\/strong> format into the folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Close the window and switch to the email client.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Click <strong>New email<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Select <strong>Signature <\/strong>in the top right-hand corner. A list with all your signatures appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9.
