CNT AG is a pioneer in VoIP technology and one of Germany’s oldest internet service providers.  Trusted by mid-market and enterprise customers since 1995, they are known for their flagship product, CNT Call Manager — the first true Cloud PBX with full UCC capabilities designed specifically for large enterprises. To reflect their growing product ecosystem and innovation in cloud communications, CNT AG engaged GetDevDone for a complete website redesign. The goals were clear: refresh the visual identity, streamline navigation across devices, and boost technical performance while keeping future maintenance simple.

Despite tight deadlines and complex requirements, we partnered with CNT AG to deliver a headless Sanity.io + Next.js solution, overcoming each challenge together to ensure a fast, SEO-optimized platform built for future growth.

Project highlights

  • Modern look & feel: Clean UI and refreshed brand positioning for CNT AG as a leading tech provider.
  • Headless architecture: Sanity.io CMS + Next.js front‑end enables modular content structure for straightforward page updates.
  • Performance uplift: Improved load times across all devices, achieving noticeably faster page rendering.
  • Accessibility & SEO foundations: Enhanced accessibility and search-engine friendliness through modern HTML structure and metadata.
  • Expertise: UX/UI design, headless CMS implementation, performance optimization
  • Headquarters: Germany

Business challenge

CNT AG sought a visual refresh to reflect its evolving brand and improve user-friendliness. The goals were:

  • Revamp look & feel: Update to current design trends for stronger brand trust among enterprise clients.
  • Implement a better navigation: Simplify menus and content structure for faster user journeys and higher engagement.
  • Rework performance: Adopt static HTML generation to guarantee sub-second page loads and boost SEO.
  • Establish simple content updates: Build a flexible headless CMS interface so designated managers can publish changes quickly and safely.

These challenges blocked CNT AG’s ability to present its services effectively and needed to be addressed to move ahead with a more mature web presence.

Solution delivered

  1. Kick‑off & discovery – we kicked off with a detailed discovery call to align on objectives, user needs, and technical scope. Based on initial estimates, we proposed and agreed a fixed-price engagement that guaranteed budget and timeline predictability.
  2. Tech advisory – Although CNT AG initially requested Sanity.io, we evaluated multiple headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Strapi, Ghost) against performance, editing UX, and static-export requirements. Together, we confirmed Sanity.io with a static-HTML workflow to satisfy their top priority: fast and autonomous content delivery.
  3. Design alignment – CNT AG supplied brand guidelines and initial layouts.
  4. Development alignment – Given the project’s tight schedule, we assembled a cross-functional team from day one. Developers worked in parallel on component build-out, CMS integration, and static-build pipeline, reviewing progress as each feature became available.
  5. Content integration & QA – Final copy arrived late, so we performed a full content QA cycle, validating every page against design specs and accessibility rules, and testing against our performance targets to confirm faster page rendering.
  6. Launch support – We provided CNT AG with step-by-step guides for CMS usage and guided CNT AG’s team on server configuration. Though we did not staff a 24/7 desk, we were available for scheduled support calls and ad-hoc troubleshooting as the client performed their own go-live.
  7. Support stage – We delivered a knowledge-transfer session, comprehensive documentation, and two months of post-launch support to resolve any environment-specific issues.

Customisation & support

  • Static‑first pipeline: Built with static HTML/CSS exports from Next.js for optimal page-load performance.
  • Consent‑aware analytics: Implemented Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode and configured to comply with data-protection regulations.
  • Environment parity: Our DevOps lead worked closely with CNT AG’s infrastructure team to resolve environment-specific issues during launch.

Tech stack

  • Sanity.io headless CMS · Next.js · TypeScript · static HTML/CSS

Business outcome

  • Sharper brand presence: The new design positions CNT AG as the modern, innovative telecommunications company, elevating perception among enterprise buyers.
  • Improved accessibility & SEO: Semantic HTML, and optimized metadata helped significantly improve accessibility and search visibility, setting a solid foundation for organic growth.
  • Content agility: A small group of designated content managers can update approved sections in Sanity’s studio and publish changes via static export. While full preview in the admin isn’t available, this controlled workflow allows rapid updates, minimizing risk and keeping the live site consistent.
  • Future-proof architecture: A Next.js front-end and headless CMS ensure the site can evolve with new landing pages.
